The Port Moody Community Services Department is seeking dynamic, personable, and experienced music instructors to lead engaging parent-and-child music classes and preschool music programs for children ages 0–5. 

This role is ideal for educators who are passionate about early childhood development and enjoy creating joyful, interactive learning environments through music.

Key Responsibilities:
•    Plan and lead music-based programs for children ages 0–5, programs for babies (with caregiver), parent & tot classes and preschool aged-sessions.
•    including parent-participation classes and preschool-aged sessions (3–5 years).
•    Foster a safe, inclusive, and stimulating environment that supports social, emotional, and creative development.
•    Build positive relationships with children, parents, and caregivers.
•    Ensure program delivery aligns with the City’s standards for quality recreation experiences.

Preferred Availability:
•    Weekday daytime hours to accommodate parent-and-child programming and preschool schedules.

Basic Qualifications:
•    Demonstrated experience leading music programs for young children, including parent-participation groups.
•    Strong understanding of child development in ages 0–5.
•    Emergency First Aid with CPR-C certification.
•    High Five certification is an asset.
•    Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills.
